Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed the Harbour Development project in Feevah has been completed on January 29, 2022.
The project worth MVR 67.6 million was contracted to MTCC by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
Under the project to develop Feevah Harbour MTCC dredged 40420 cubic meters of harbour basin, 14743 cubic metres of entry channel, constructed a 356 meter breakwater, 474 meter quay wall, 27 meter groyne, and revetment of 182 square meter. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights, and developing a paved area were undertaken.
In the past three years, MTCC has completed several Harbour construction, Land reclamation and Shore protection projects.
