Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) stated that the equipment required to establish the Water System under ADh. Kunburudhoo Water and Sewerage project has been delivered to the project site.
As part of the project, a main network of 2.75 kilometers of water pipeline will be established in Kunburudhoo, a RO facility building will be constructed and two RO plants will be installed to produce water, and construction of three tanks for water storage. And water meter installation and water connection will be provided to all households.
Moreover, as part of the sewerage system, a main network of 2.30 kilometers sewerage pipeline will be established, a 374 meter pumping line will be constructed, constructions of a building for administrative works, construction of three pumping stations and a sea outflow will also be established. Also, junctions will be installed in all the houses and Sewerage connection will be provided to all households.
MWSC will also provide generator sets, vehicles and water analysis equipment to maintain the island’s water and sewerage system.
The project is worth MVR 45.12 million.
