Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed the Harbour Development project in N. Miladhoo is near completion, with overall 90% project progress.
MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that final shipment of rock boulders required for the project work have been delivered to the site on February 01, 2022.
Under the project to develop Miladhoo Harbour MTCC has to dredge 37222 cubic meter of harbour basin, construction of a 209 meter breakwater, a 152 meter revetment, and a 286 meter quay wall. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights, and developing a 1430 square feet paved area will be undertaken.
The project is worth MVR 45.26 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
