Ha. Thuraakunu Women’s Development Committee (WDC) has donated a Spot Monitor to the island’s health centre.
According to the President of the WDC Huzaima Mohamed, the main purpose of donating a Spot Monitor is to solve the difficulties faced while conducting tests and to provide efficient service to the general public.
Moreover, Thuraakunu WDC stated that a cake course for the Women will be held soon in the Island. Furthermore, WDC noted that some of the activities planned by the committee were not carried out due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
In addition, WDC appreciated the assistance provided by the Thuraakunu Council and all their members in carrying out the activity.
