New ambulance sent to Sh. Komandoo

Ministry of Health has stated that an ambulance has been sent to Sh. Komandoo from Ambulances brought to the Hospitals and Health centers in atolls.

As a part of a contract with State Trading Organization Public Limited (STO) to bring Ambulances for Hospitals and Health Centers in atolls, Ambulances has been sent to Sh. Foakaidhoo and Sh. Maroshi on October 30, 2021. During that time Ambulances were also sent to Ha. Uligamu, Ha. Filladhoo, HDh. Makunudhoo, and HDh. Nolhivaram.

Moreover, Ambulances have also been sent to N. Miladhoo, N. Henbadhoo, R. Inguraidhoo, Lh. Kurendhoo, B. Thulhaadhoo, K. Huraa, Dhaalu Atoll. Madifushi, L. Maamendhoo, GA. Gemanafushi, Th. Gaadhiffushi, B. Kudarikilu and AA.Thoddoo.

Furthermore , out of the 96 ambulances contracted to STO to bring in last year’s June, 20 ambulances arrived to Maldives on October 7, 2021. 

In addition, the health ministry noted that the new ambulances will expand services and solve many of the challenges being faced in the atolls. It is a pledge of the current government to complete ambulances for all the islands of the Maldives.
