Ooredoo Maldives have launched their new Golden Year SIM pack for tourists, as part of their celebration of Maldives Tourism Golden Jubilee.

Mr. Thoyyib Mohamed, the Managing Director of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), launched this special SIM pack for tourists.

The special SIM Pack includes massive data allowances, as well as specialized social media data with a one-month validity, allowing visitors to stay in touch with friends and family back home while sharing their wonderful experience in the Maldives.

According to Thoyyib Mohamed MD of MMPRC, they appreciate the efforts of Ooredoo in ensuring that travelers are connected with the world as their vacation in the sunny side of life.

Moreover, according to Ooredoo Maldives Chief Commercial Officer, Hussain Niyaz, theirMagey Raajje Calendar and the Golden Year SIM pack is just the beginning of the activities planned for the year. And they will remain committed to the people of the Maldives and will continue to enrich the lives of our communities and be a part of its celebrations.

​Ooredoo Maldives has always worked closely with the stakeholders of the tourism industry extending their support through innovative solutions and enabling digital transformation within the industry. In 2020, upon reopening the borders for travelers, the company also partnered with MMPRC, Tourism Ministry and Orca Media Group and launched a destination marketing campaign “Visit Maldives Now” reaching its international network of over 117 million people across 10 countries.
