Ihavan Cup Football Tournament 2021 which is open to all islands of Haa Alifu and Haa Dhaalu Atolls organized by Club Polster has begun.
The competition began at the Ihavandhoo Huravee Football Stadium on Friday night, December 24, 2021. A total of 11 teams participated in the tournament.
The Ihavan Cup Football Tournament 2021 was opened for all youth of Ihavandhoo, and Government institutions, all NGOs, Companies, and Resorts from Ha. and HDh Atoll, except Ihavandhoo. No club, organization, government institution or company in Ihavandhoo were given a chance to participate in the competition.
Furthermore, this is the most expensive football competition to be held in Ha. and HDh. Atolls. The winning team will be awarded MVR 50,000 while the runner-up team will be awarded MVR 25,000.
This is the second time the Ihavan Cup is organized by Club Polestar. Club Polestar has been registered since 1999 and has been working for the development of Ihavandhoo.
