Community Gym opened in Kulhudhuffushi City

The community gym established by the government in Kulhudhuffushi City has been opened.

The gym was established by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment at Kulhudhuffushi City Community Centre. 

The gym was inaugurated by Aboobakuru Hussain, a sports person and social worker in Kulhudhuffushi City. Speaking at the ceremony, Kulhudhuffushi City Mayor Mohamed Athif thanked President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and Youth Minister Ahmed Mahloof for the projects being carried out and to be carried out (Synthetic track, Sports complex, and outdoor volleyball court) in Kulhudhuffushi City through the Government.

Kulhudhuffushi City Council has stated that community gym services will be available to gym members between 0530hrs and 2300hrs every day. Moreover, anyone above 16 years can be a gym member. And the membership fee is MVR 200 per month, but if paid for a full year will have to pay MVR 2000.

Kulhudhuffushi City Council has urged those who use community gym services to maintain cleanliness, not  to damage the equipment in the premises, and to follow the rules and regulations for the use of gyms.
