The newly built Ice plant has been opened in Hoarafushi.
Hoarafushi Council has stated that the project was carried out in collaboration with the council and MIFCO with the generous financial assistance of Mohamed Moosa (Uchu), head of Champa brothers, a private business.
According to Hoarafushi MP Ahmed Saleem, since the MVR 4.2 million project has been completed it will make it easier for those who come to the island in the fisheries sector from nearby islands and from across the country.
The Hoarafushi Council thanked President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and MP Ahmed Saleem for developing the 25-ton ice plant.
