A handball coaching camp for the women’s organized by Baarah School in collaboration with Baarah Police Station has started in Baarah.
Camp started with 78 participants on November 17, 2021, for ten days which will be carried out by dividing into two categories. A total of 36 students from Baarah School and 42 youths participated in the camp.
According to Principle of Baarah School Amjad Hussain, the main purpose of the handball coaching camp is to introduce the sport in Baarah as it is a developing sport in the Maldives and to teach students and youth in accordance with the rules and regulations of sports. Moreover, encouraging students and youths to practice a healthy lifestyle.
Amjad thanked Baarah Police for their support in carrying out the camp. Furthermore, he also thanked Baarah Fenaka, Baarah Council and other institutions, as well as the parents of Baarah School, for their support in conducting the camp.
