On the Vice President Faisal Naseem’s visit to HDh. Nellaidhoo, council has stated that the biggest issue of the island is land shortage, in the meeting with the Vice President.
During his visit to Nellaidhoo, the Vice President held a meeting with Nellaidhoo Council and senior institutional representatives of the island and discussed the issues and difficulties faced by the institutes. Also, discussions were also held on ways to improve the island’s economy.
Moreover, during the meeting Health Center noted that due to the limited space and equipment they are unable to provide better service to customers, therefore, they requested assistance from the government to solve the issue.
Furthermore, during the meeting, the Vice President stated that the main purpose of holding such meetings was to strengthen the relations between the government and the people, and to facilitate the people’s affairs according to their wishes.
In addition, the Vice President toured the two classrooms being built at Nellaidhoo School and visited the Nellaidhoo Health Centre to check the status.
Nellaidhoo Council appreciated the government for their efforts in the development of Nellaidhoo.
