50% of N. Miladhoo Harbor development project completed: MTCC

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) stated that 50% of Miladhoo Harbor development project is completed.

The company has also updated about the ongoing work stating that the first shipment of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction has been delivered to the project site.

Under the project company has to dredge 37,222 cubic meters, 248 meters of breakwater, 286 meter quay wall, and 137 meters of revetment. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights, and development of a paved area near the harbour will be undertaken.

The value of the project is MVR 42.1 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports and harbors.
