Sh. Milandhoo Coastal Protection project has been awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
Project was awarded to MTCC at a ceremony held at the Planning Ministry on November, 9, 2021. CEO of MTCC Adam Azim signed the agreement on behalf of the company and Permanent Secretary Zeeniya Hameed signed the agreement on behalf of the Ministry.
Under the project, revetment will be constructed in an area of 954 meters and groin construction will be carried out in an area of 115 meters.
The project has been contracted to MTCC by National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure with a budget of MVR 36.69 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports and harbors.
