Bidding opened for the second time to develop the concept plan of Neykurendhoo Prison

Bidding is open for a second time to develop the concept plan of the Industrial prison to be built in HDh. Neykurendhoo.

According to the announcement by the Ministry of Home Affairs, they are looking for a developer to develop Neykurendhoo prison as per the guidelines provided by the Ministry.

Moreover, the bid registration deadline is November 4, 2021. And bid submission and opening is scheduled for November 9, 2021, at 1000 hrs, at Velaanaage 10th Floor.

The project was supposed to commence last year, but it has yet to get started. Since the project was delayed, Mohamed Raai, Member of Parliament representing Neykurendhoo, has already questioned Home Minister Imran Abdulla through parliament and asked for a formal response.
