MOU signed between Ihavandhoo Council and Ministry of Environment

havandhoo Council and the Ministry of Environment signed a MOU to obtain the necessary equipment for safe and effective waste management.

Minister Aminath Shauna signed the MOU on behalf of the Ministry and Ihavandhoo Council President signed on behalf of council. 

Under this MOU a budget will be designated to obtain the necessary equipment for safe and effective waste management. 

Moreover, Minister Shauna also discussed the island’s environmental challenges with the council during their meeting.
