The government has made the “gov.mv message” service available to the public.

According to the President’s Office, the project was launched on President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s instructions, and the public is encouraged to use the new service.

Public can now send letters to government offices by using gov.mv messaging service. Therefore, for the first time, this platform allows for the regulated tracking of letters.

Moreover, the release by the government also outlined the steps that government organizations should take when responding to requests made through the new platform.

As per the announcement previous directives, number 63/1975 (14 October 1975), number 1991/59 (15 June 1991), number 1995/68 (7 October 1995), number 2001/77 (25 December 2001), were also declared null and void.
