Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that 73% of Dhihdhoo shore protection Project has been completed.
As part of the project, Geo bags will be used for shore protection to a distance of 310 meters. A total of 1,926 cubic meters of sand will be used to fill the geo bags. And a total of 7,750 cubic meters of sand will be used for land leveling.
The project has been contracted to MTCC under work on the design and build basis, with a budget of MVR 10.02 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports and harbors
