Male’ Water & Sewerage Company has started physical work on the Sh.Feevah water project.

According to MWSC, work is underway to transport the necessary equipment for the project, and to start work on the installation of pipes for the water system, and also the construction work of a building to house the water plant.

The project includes a 9.17kilometer-long water system, construction of a building to house the RO facility, 3 water tanks and the installation of two RO plants for the water system.

Furthermore, the MWSC has stated that water testing equipment will be provided for the project.

The project  is estimated to cost MVR 49.60million.
