Ihavandhoo council has decided to rent land plots for interested parties to produce salted dried fish.
Council decided to rent four plots of lands (1600 square feet each) near the north end of the harbour for 6 months.
According to the announcement interested parties are requested to visit the Secretariat of Ihavandhoo Council for further information during 0900-1300 hrs between 05-09 September 2021. And submit the proposals before 1300 hrs, on September 14, 2021. Further, proposals will not be accepted from the parties who have not attended for further information collection.
Moreover, as per the announcement, Companies, Partnerships, Local Investments, Sole proprietorship, and Individuals can apply for the land plots.
Furthermore, priority will be given to the people who are currently in the salted dried fish business.
