Opportunity to register farming land plots in Ha. Kelaa

Ha.Kelaa council has opened the opportunity for the farmers to register land plots for a contract farming project.

Farmers can participate in contract farming project to develop the farming industry, according to the council’s announcement, which will be carried out in partnership with the Agro National Corporation.

Agro National Corporation would purchase 17 items from local farmers as part of the project, in accordance with the agreement between the farmer and Agro National. Moreover, farmers will receive technical and financial assistance.

Council requested farmers interested in joining the project to submit a registration form to the Secretariat of Kelaa Council before 1400hrs of 07^th September 2021.

Haroon Rasheed, the Managing Director of Agro National Corporation, recently visited Kelaa and briefed the council and farmers on the contract farming project.

Kelaa is one of the Upper North’s most prominent farming islands.
