Handball coaching camp organized by HDh. Neykurendhoo Zahir Sports Academy in partnership with the Women’s Development Committee and Handball Maldives is now open for registration.
Handball coaching camp targeted for women’s will be held from 04th to 12th September, 2021. And individuals from neighboring Islands are also welcome to attend the program. However, students are eligible to participate only if they are studying in Grade 7 or above.
Speaking on behalf of Zahir Academy, President Mohamed Zahir claimed that the camp’s major goal is to push handball to a higher level within the Island, with the goal of making Neykurendhoo the number one in handball throughout HDh. Atoll.
Further, individuals interested in attending the camp should contact Zahir Academy president, 9751609, or Fathimath Riza, president of the Women’s Development Committee, at 9491001 according to Zahir.
Zahir Academy was founded in 2020, and they have been actively contributing to the development of sports, the social and cultural life of residentials, and the improvement of religious knowledge among teenagers. And, according to Zahir, the result of their work is fruitful even within this short time frame. The Academies Football Development program, which is administered without charge to players, currently has 40 people registered.
