HA.Dhidhoo women development committee has gifted carpet to the Gazee Mohamed Preschool.
The women development committee’s President, Aminath Nahula, has informed Thiladhun that the committee met with the preschool to determine the necessary items for the school, and the preschool has informed the committee that they require carpet for the classrooms.
According to Nahula , The school has requested that carpet be placed in the corners of each classroom so that students can sit in the carpeted area during their free time. Nahula also highlighted that when the women’s development committee announced that the preschool needed carpet, a generous islander generously gifted carpet.
Furthermore, the committee had planned several activities, such as a sewing course, but were unable to carry them out due to the covid-19 outbreak, which put the island under monitoring. However, Nahula has assured Thiladhun that the program would be continued before the end of the year.
The newly elected women development committee has organized several activities such as distributing eid gifts to the people with special disabilities and to the Kudakudhinge Hiya kids.
