HA Ihavandhoo land reclamation project commences

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC)  started the land reclamation project in Ha Alif Atoll Ihavandhoo on Wednesday.

The work began on Wednesday evening, and it will involve boundary wall and site construction.

Ihavandhoo MP Mohammed Shifau, congratulated island residents on the start of the land reclamation project. He also thanked the Honorable President, Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, for fulfilling the residents’ dream.

The project was awarded to MTCC on November  10, 2020. and the project is valued  MVR 123.9 million.

Reclamation, and the installation of rock boulder revetment are all part of the project.
