Introducing “Rashu Majlis” in Vaikaradhoo

The secretariat of H.dh Vaikaradhoo Council has decided to introduce and execute “Rashu Majilis”. The main purpose of this is to allow to gather the ideas and suggestions from the residents permanently.

In a notice published today, by the council says that one of the main protocol of the 4th council is working as closely as possible with the people of the island.

Under the law of governing the official constituencies of the Maldives, there are mandatory meetings to hold with island residents but to more of this, Vaikaradhoo council wanted to build a permanent platform where the residents can share their Knowledge, thoughts and suggestions.

The total number people in this majlis is 40 and a minimum of 16 should be females. And the members will be selected according to the application order. The council also says that the members applying should be currently living in Vaikaradhoo as well.

The application is opened until 13:30 of 10th June and needs to fill a special application form provided by the Council
