State Trading Organization (STO) has decided in there annual general meeting to distribute a dividend of MVR 60 to every share.

The annual general meeting was held yesterday through STO e-voting and  682 shareholders participated in the meeting. From the profit of last year, a dividend of MVR 60 to distribute was decided by full majority of 682 shareholders, who participated in the meeting.

Last year, STO gained an income of MVR 8.5 billion and a net profit of MVR 127 million.

As a board member from the locals, Ms Aminath Rushma was elected in the meeting. Also Price Waterhouse Cooper was elected as the auditors for the coming year.
