State Trading Organization (STO)’s Agricenter has started to sell locally grown produce.

STO Agricenter is built by STO to provide an easy and reliable way to access locally grown organic foods at a fair price. They also make it easier for local farmers by distribution and giving a fair wage.

Currently, foods available at the center include chili peppers and sweet potatoes at retail and wholesale. Chili peppers at retail for 250 MVR and 230 MVR for wholesale per kilo. Sweet potatoes at retail for 60 MVR and 57 MVR for wholesale per kilo.

The center opened its doors to the public in the beginning of this year. The center will be providing produce made by many local farmers.
