In support of Palestinians suffered, due to the attacks of Israel, a fundraising event has begun in Kulhudhuffushi City.
The event is organized by all the clubs and associations of Kulhudhuffushi in collaboration. The event began yesterday and will continue until 5th June, 2021.As of now, donations have to be deposited to the given account and all individuals, organizations and businesses are welcomed to contribute to the event.
“We started collecting money to help the residents of Palestine as a fundraising event. We will continue to accept donations from the people of Kulhudhuffushi for eleven more days. We have placed donation boxes at the shops of Kulhudhuffushi as well. This is an event held in collaboration of all the clubs and associations.”
Said a senior person from the event. He also thanked and appreciated all the support they have been getting to the event.
We are also informed that all the money collected from this event will be sent to the residents of Palestine through International Aid Campaign and processing will begin on 6th June.
To show we stand with Palestine, fundraising events such as this has started throughout the country. We acknowledge that such events have also begun in many islands of Northern Atolls.
