President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that discounts are to be given from water and electricity bills for all the households of the country in the coming month. He said this in the ongoing press conference.
Discounts are also to be given for small businesses in the coming month. An amount of 20% discount will be given for electricity bill.
President also said that he believes that spread of covid-19 has worsened recently due to the release of restrictions in early April in Male’ area and in Atolls. With the new and more restrictions establishing tomorrow onwards, he is hoping to see a decline in the spread of covid-19.
Moreover he appreciated and thanked all the Health caretakers, MNDF Officials, Police, Volunteers and all the other helpers for there hard work in the past one and half years.
