Ha. Alif Ihavandhoo harbor upgrade on progress: MTCC

According to MTCC, Ha. Alif Ihavandhoo harbor upgrading is on progress, with 98% completion. The value of the project is MVR 48.5 million.

Scope of works for the project includes dredging and excavation operations of 30,509cbm,the construction of a 95m quay wall, a 284m breakwater and a 178m revetment. Also installation of navigation lights, streetlights and construction of 4,582sqm of paved area will also be undertaken.

The first shipment of pre-cast concrete blocks needed for the construction of quay wall was also delivered to the project site on 20th May 2021
