Care packages provided to 250 households under quarantine in Dhihdhoo

In collaboration with Dhihdhoo Dhigaa Foundation, Dhihdhoo Middle Sports Club has provided care packages for 250 households under quarantine.

The program was initiated to provide help and support to the quarantined households, says the president of Middle Sports Club. Also thanked the main contribute partner, Dhigaa Foundation, as well as MP Abdulla Waheed and President Elect of Dhihdhoo Council Ahmed Rasheed for their generous contribution for the program.

It is believed a rapid community spread of covid-19 in the island as some random samples had also tested positive. The council has established curfew since 8th May until 4pm of 14th May and has put many households on quarantine.

First positive case presented with symptoms to flu clinic on 1st May and at present there are 98positive cases in the island
