Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the harbour of Ihvandhoo has been completed by 40%.
The company has also updated about the on going work stating that the newly added part to the harbor is also ongoing and the dredging of that part is 68% completed.
Under the project of extension and development of HA. Ihavandhoo’s harbor, the company is to dredge 21,295 cubic meters, 95 meters of inward barrier, 284 meters of outward barrier, 178 meters or revetment, light posts of the roads, and also the outside pavement near the harbor is also to be developed.

The project has been given to MTCC by National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure with a budget of 48.5 Million Ruffiyya.
