A project under Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the road development of R. Dhuvaafaru is almost completed.
The 1st phase of the development of the roads in the island is almost completed and so far 90% is according to MTCC.
The completion of road base is almost done and right now the works that are pending are for to put up the road signs and the paintings of zebra crosses and park lanes.
Under the project, MTCC has developed 6813.03 meters of walking space, and 25513 meters of space to drive as well. The lamps and lighting systems of the roads are also to be installed as well.
This project was leased to MTCC by Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure with a budget of 47.04 million ruffiyyaa.
