HA. atoll hospital receives a new X-ray machine.
In order to give uninterrupted services in the radiology department, the hospital is HA.Dhidhoo receives an extra X-ray machine, according to the hospital.
After the health ministry sending an X-ray machine to the island, the manager of the hospital Mr. Uthman Ashraf stated that the new X-ray machine in the island would let the hospital cater to all the patients equally.
“The X-Ray machine in the island are having some technical difficulties. But, the hospital got another one in such a short notice. Now we can attend to the patients who needs medical assistance in emergency”
Ashraf has also stated that a person from STO will be in the island to install the X-ray as well. And the work has been started 3 nights ago as well.
He also added that the hospital got consultations regarding orthopedic and the X-Rays are vital at the moment.
The hospital are with great demand for Orthopedic as well Gynecology as well. The neighboring islands from HA and HDH also visits the hospital.
