Sh. Atoll Hospital has successfully completed 7 big operations of Thyroid in the hospital.
The atoll hospital which resides in Funadhoo, stated that within a time span of 2 months, the hospital has successfully completed 7 major operations of Thyroid. This is a major breakthrough according to the hospital and within a time span this small, and subject to the success rate, this is a major celebratory win for the hospital.
After the breakthrough operation of Thyroid operation which commenced on last year’s November, according to the manager of the hospital, more and more people have gained the trust in issues with Thyroid with the hospital.
Manager, Zumrath has also stated that, the operations would not be successful with the hard work of doctors, nurses and other staffs of the hospital. As the current governments strategic plan acts to decentralize the health care system to the atolls, this is an important step, according to the manager.

After the completion of the operations, the hospital stated that this operation is a rare operation done specially in the atolls and the hospital is proud of their team and thanked them.
