Ha. Dhidhdhoo Middle Sports Club has planned to start a program to dispose old and damaged copies of Quran from households in a respectful manner.
According to the Middle Sports Club, under the social responsibility of the club, they decided to initiate a program to collect old and damaged copies of the Quran from their households in order to dispose them in a respectful and proper manner.
“The Quran (damaged or old copies) collection time opened for 14th January 2021(Thursday) at afternoon 13:00 to 15:00 and on 15th January 2021 (Friday) at 20:00 to 21:00.”
Mr. Nashwan Ibrahim, President of the Middle Sports Club, mentioned that he had noticed that many old and damaged copies of the Quran had been found in many households and that there was no proper way to dispose of it. He said that the key purpose of this initiative is to dispose of these copies in a respectful and proper way.
“rarely we see some of the damaged copies in the garbage dumps which is very sad, hence we decided to help to tackle this issue in a proper manner since then we have collected old and damaged copies on 14th and 15th January and now we are doing the work of disposing in the religious manner.” By Nashwan

Middle Sports Club is a club founded on Ha. Dhidhdhoo, which specializes on sports in addition to social activities and was officially registered on 9th June 2016 as a social club.
