Maldives Transport and Contracting Company(MTCC) is to start the development of Sh. Feydhoo’s harbor soon.
According to MTCC, in order to start the physical work of developing the island’s harbor, all the tools and materials that has been mobilized to the island today.
The work has been assigned to MTCC by the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure with a budget of 33.1 million ruffiyya.
Under the work that has been planned, MTCC would engage in deepening 27,000 cubic meters from the reef, 378 meters outer reef layer, 90 meters rivetment, 276 meters inward reef layers, 1380 meters pavement, and the installment of guiding lights to the reef as well.
MTCC is currently the biggest company who has been given with governments development projects. Under the development projects, MTCC has been developing and building harbors airports, and other building constructions as well.
