Telecommunications service provider, Ooredoo steps up and has started to give 5G services to the greater Male’ region.
5G being the fasted data speed ever to be presented in the world, Ooredoo has introduced this speed to the Male’ region on a ceremony held evening, yesterday. The service was introduced by the Minster of communications, science and technology Mr. Mohamed Maleeh Jamal.
Ooredoo has stated that they are first people to introduce this to the Maldives and with the introduction, they will be providing the fasted cellular data technology in the Maldives.
On this ceremony, the CEO of Ooredoo, Najib Khan has stated that Maldives is one country who relies on technology very much and has become very much technologically advanced as well. After the pandemic, more and more people are engulfed with internet and doing everything via the web as well in Maldives, he added.
He also added that Ooredoo will always work towards the betterment of their customers as well.
Ooredoo has also stated that the chart of places where the 5G will be received will be displayed on their website as well.
