H.Dh Kulhudhufushi’s harbour expansion program has been completed.
The contracted company, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has also confirmed that the work has been done. A tweet which was tweeted by the company has stated that the work has been fully done on the 10th of December and a total of 137.6 million rufiyaa has been used up for the whole project.
Under the project, a new area has been allocated for bigger vessels to offload and load goods while the existing jetty has been made with a ramp for smaller vessels to load and offload as well.
Moreover, a ferry terminal has also been constructed in here, along with a ticket counter and retails stores with a prayer room as well.

MTCC has also developed a fish market, fish cutting station and as well as a place where fishermen could take showers as well. And for smaller vessels and for sea sports, MTCC gas also developed a water front under this project as well.
