Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has successfully completed the development of Henbadhoo harbour.
The whole development of N.Henbandhoo harbour was completed on the 21st of November completely. The whole harbour construction was priced 30.3 million rufiyya.
Ministry of National Planning Housing and Infrastructure contracted the work to MTCC on the 23rd of June 2019. And the materials were off loaded to the island on the 24th September 2019.
MTCC has stated that under this project that have dredged 44615 cubic meters of space for the harbour, 203 meters of inward jetty was constructed and 259 meters of outward jetty was also constructed. Moreover, 173 meter of revetment was also made, 25 meters of grones and 1015 meters of pavement.
MTCC is being proudly the company who carries out most of the development projects by the government so far. So far, the company has been heavily participated in developing airports, jetties, dredging and road development as well. Their projects so far has been equally distributed to a lot of islands in the Maldives.
