Ha. Hoarafushi council are searching for interested parties to develop solar panels and connect them to the islands main power distribution grid and to maintain the solar power system.
In order to find the interested parties for this, the island’s council has put out a notice as well. In order to develop an environment friendly electrical power production, the council has stated “Design, Build, Own and Operate & Transfer” and self financed interested parties are to send the bids to the council.
The information giving session will be held on the 26th November at 1100 online. People who are interested to participate in this session is to send an email before the 25th November 1400 to the councils email address. Email address is [email protected]
The bid sending session will be held on the 15th of December 2020 at 1100. And the people who participate in the information session would only be allowed to bid as well.
The council has also stated that the statistical and research that needs to be done on the island and to calculate the boundaries to produce the current is also a responsibility of the interested party as well.
