Kulhudhufushi Regional Hospital (KRH) has done another breakthrough surgery. This time, the hospital has done an eye surgery.

With the newly acquired equipment for the ophthalmology department, the hospital did a corneal grafting surgery. For this, the damages muscles were replaced by newly fresh muscles for grafting.

KRH stated that this is the first time such a surgery was done in the hospital. And they assure that such more services will be given in the future as well.

The operation was carried out by Dr. Rashim Thakur.

Lately, KRH has been doing breakthrough operations. Lately, orthopedic department has done a fibula surgery and they have also successfully removed a cyst from a patient as well. More over, in their NICU, a 28 weeks baby was also carefully monitored and discharged with good health.

KRH is the biggest hospital where a lot of in bound islands cater for their medical needs from.
