According to the Ministry of Tourism, Ha.Kelaa are actively searching for interested parties to develop a tourist hotel at the island.
The intended space for the tourism in the island includes the development of the tourist hotel as well. The island is actively searching for interested parties to invest on the 864,414 acre-foot space including the sea and beach alongside it.
Tourism ministry has stated that people who are interested in this are to participate in the meeting virtually held in Zoom application. The meeting will commence in the 26th of November, at 1300.
The last day to bid will be on the 17th of December 2020 at 1000.
Apart from developing a tourist hotel in Kelaa, at the Thundi of Kelaa, a tourist resort will also be developed, from the tourism zone of the island a 5000 acre-foot 12 space, 10,000 acre foot 2 space will also be developed according to the Majilis member of the constituency Ibrahim Shareef.
Close to the Hanimadhoo Aiport, Kelaa is one of the most beautiful islands in the Maldives. Situated at the most north of Maldives, Kelaa already had developed 5 guest houses in the island.
