Niya Academy has initiated a women parents futsal tournament in Ha.Muraidhoo.
“Southlink Niya’s Academy Women Futsal Tournament” is to be started on the 27th of Novmber. The parents of all the students who are in the Academy is to participate in this futsal tournament.
So far, the teams who have participated in this tournament are, Infinity, Lady Eagles, Need for Speed, Team Hiyala, Women star and Busy Girls. The matches are to be held in Muraidhoo futsal ground.
The layout of the tournament is that all the teams would play against each other, and the two teams which gets the most points would nominate to the finals. The final match of the tournament is to be played on the 7th December 2020.

After giving more information when asked by Thiladhun, the Academy’s president, Ahmed Niyaz Moosa has said that the main of the tournament is to affiliate more people in moving and exercising.
He also added that the academy is a well planned and a well off academy who also uses the latest equipment. Apart from the skills of sports, the academy also makes the students behavior a good impact as well.

Niya’ Academy saw the light as a academy on the 2nd of December 2019. After that, a total of 119 students are trained in here. 48% of students are girls while the rest are boys. Total of 7 coaches work in this academy and the biggest supporter/sponsor for the academy is a hardware shop based in Muraidhoo named Southlink.
