Government Faciliates Kelaa, Dhaandhoo and Hoadedhoo with Ambulance Services

As part of the Government’s effort to improve healthcare services provided in atolls, three islands including HA. Kelaa has been facilitated with ambulances.

Health Ministry reported that the ambulances were sent to HA. Kelaa, GA. Dhaandhoo, and G.Dh Hoadedhoo.

Following the sudden upsurge of COVID-19 cases in G.Dh Hoadedhoo, government has been taking measures to improve the level of healthcare in the islands. Hoadedhoo has reported a total of 35 COVID-19 cases till date.

The transfer of ambulances to GA. Dhaandhoo and G.Dh Hoadedhoo is managed by MWSC as part of the company’s CSR.
