Fenaka Corporation announced that they are all set to begin the construction work of the water bottling plant in HA. Hoarafushi.

On February, 2020, Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed an MoU with India to develop a water bottling plant in HA. Hoarafushi for USD 51,900.

HA. Hoarafushi council will oversee the progress of the project which was handed to Fenaka Corporation. The members taking part in this project held a meeting on July 12, 2020.

According to Fenaka Corporation, they are ready to begin the construction work of the project as all operations concerning the project is already underway. The corporation is aiming to complete all construction work by February, 2021.

The water bottling plant is estimated to yield between 10-12 thousand (glass) bottles of water every day. Under this project the corporation will commence handing over dispensers to every household in order to distribute water efficiently.

The project to develop a bottling water plant in HA. Hoarafushi is a part of “High Impact Community Development” program of the Indian government.
