Hanimaadhoo – Cochin Maldivian Fare

Island Aviation has stated that flight operations between Cochin and Hanimaadhoo will commence in late October. 

Island Aviation’s Deputy Managing Director, Mariyam Jennifer, said the operation would commence on 28 October at a press conference held in India on Tuesday to launch the new route. She further mentioned that the role of the national airline Maldivian in the development of tourism will expand with the additional route.

While Maldivian has scheduled three daily flights for the route, tickets from Male’ to Cochin cost US$150. Tickets from Hanimaadhoo to Cochin cost US$ 199.

Cochin is a city in India that a lot of locals travel to for medical treatment.
