Workshop to draft Hoarafushi development plan begins in Male’

A workshop has been held to draft a five-year development master plan for HA Hoarafushi. The workshop was inaugurated on Saturday by Planning Minister Mohamed Aslam at the Ghiyasuddin International School.                                                             The workshop, which seeks to gain public opinion on the Hoarafushi development plan, will be split into three phrases.                                                                                          A consultant for the Water Solution firm, who is in charge of the project, said they will use all available expertise and resources to draft the five-year development plan and will review the current land-use plan and perform a survey at Hoarafushi. The consultant said the master plan will be drawn up in accordance with the wishes of the citizen and it is expected to bring the requisite development to Hoarafushi.

The workshop was attended by many experts in various fields and residents of Hoarafushi, and another will be held at Hoarafushi.
