Kulhudhuffushi City Council has opened bidding to lease the land and buildings of Kulhudhuffushi Ameer Ameen School for 25 years to provide play school services and develop modern education.
According to the City Council, those who are interested in the bidding are requested to complete the specific proposal submission form and submit it to city council before 10.30hrs of February 6.
Moreover, information session regarding the bidding will be held at Kulhudhuffushi city council and Local Government Authority meeting room on February 24 at 10:30hrs and bid submission will be held at 10:30hrs of February 7.
Furthermore, only one bid can be submitted by those who complete the bid registration. And only those who have registered with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade will be allowed to bid.
The school was established on June 4, 1953.However, it was officially registered on March 29, 1960. Modern education began at the school in 1998.
In 2020, Kulhudhuffushi Council decided to shut down the school due to the financial crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. But in 2021, the council decided to restart the play school there, and announced several times to find people to run a play school.
