A training program on ‘Value Addition and Marketing and Business Plan’ has held at Sh. Goidhoo.
The program was organized by Sh. Goidhoo Council in collaboration with Business Center Corporation- HDh. Kulhudhuffushi Business Center (BCC) as part of the financial support of the Urban Development Program being carried out by Shaviyani Atoll Council.
According to the President of Goidhoo Council Ibrahim Shahid, the three day program was conducted with the help of professionals of BCC.
Moreover, pointing out that Goidhoo is an agricultural island, Shahid stated that the program taught the participants how to market the agricultural products produced in the island, market them while growing them and how to make a business plan to start businesses.
Furthermore, Shahid stated that the program provided useful information to the participants. Programs participants include youths and students who recently completed school. Therefore, these youths received important information on how enter into businesses and making necessary business plans before entering into businesses.
A total of 20 participants completed training.
