Authorities from Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi City and Nolhivaram have held discussions on strengthening economic and social integration between the two islands.

According to the Kulhudhuffushi City Council, the meeting took place during an official visit to the city by the Nolhivaram Council. The delegation included Council President Yoosuf Moosa, Vice President Mohamed Hussain, councilors, and staff from the Council Secretariat.

During the discussions, both councils exchanged updates on ongoing efforts to enhance administrative governance and address challenges in delivering public services. They also explored ways in which the two administrations could support one another in their respective work.

“The two parties had a broad exchange of ideas and discussed several measures that could be taken to further integrate Kulhudhuffushi and Nolhivaram both economically and socially,” the City Council said.

Nolhivaram is the most populous island in the atoll after Kulhudhuffushi City and is also the closest island to the city.
